  Tai Chi Push hand is a two persons exercise unique to Taiji. It emphasises on learning to sense your partner or opponent's intention, movements and strength, in turn putting the opponent under control and defeat him with all different types of skill without using unnecessary force. The Gluing Pole is an extension of push hands training, which focus on controlling the opponent's weapon as if they are glued together, an excellent way of learning to extend one's push hand skill.
